How do we measure results?
Catalina Health Resource (CHR) believes that marketing programs MUST be measured to ensure results and to allow for continued improvements over the life of a marketing campaign. In other words, we WILL measure your program results, and we WILL work with your market research / management science personnel to make sure these measurements are conducted in a way that you find robust, helpful, and insightful.
To enable this, CHR provides several types of analytical services and reports to our clients. These include affinity reports, brand reviews, and most importantly, measurements of specific campaigns and programs. Metrics provided can vary based on the program and the needs of the sponsoring brand, but generally include measurements of consumer/patient response, actual product volume lift in stores where programs are conducted, and Return On Investment (ROI) for a given program.
Measurable Performance
Unlike a majority of media outlets and marketing communication firms, CHR maintains an in-house staff of analytics professionals, led by a Ph.D. statistician, who work closely with the management science groups within our clients. This allows us to test each of our programs to ensure they are performing to our clients' expectations. When possible, and based on program design and sample size, we calculate and report results as compared to a matched control group of similar stores or even individual patients, using methodologies similar to those employed in pharmaceutical clinical trials. Results are reported along with their degree of statistical significance and margin of error if the sample size of individual groups allows for this. Even for lower volume products, the CHR Analytical Services group provides metrics and analyses that allow brand teams and their agency partners to make better, more informed decisions.
